Walk 43 - Flat Rock Walk/Killarney Heights

Flat Rock Walk which commenced at the end of Killarney Drive in Killarney Heights delighted all of us.  First of all not one of us had ever been there so it was a bit of a mystery to all.   Surprises unfolded as we trudged midway on the hillside as Middle Harbour glimpses revealed themselves through great angophoras and heavily wooded bushland on  one side and  wonderful majestic rocky escarpments way above to the right as we headed towards Roseville Bridge.  Although steep and a little rocky in places the walk for the most part was without hazard or hardship.
Eventually the views opened up to reveal Roseville Marina on the opposite bank.

En route we encountered a primitive  sign  "Private Property".
In the shade of the trees we viewed a sinister scene of abandonment, silently spooky somehow.
