Walk 46 - Narrabeen Lakes

A short walk from Goodwin Street into Wheeler Park in Narrbeen  gave us a look at the Lake, its shape, its proximity to Wakehurst Parkway where we walked a little way through the trees beyond Bilarong Reserve   It was prettier than expected and everywhere we saw water birds.
By 2014 the Pittwater  Council hopes to complete the  circuit track of the lake.   The last section remaining will be alongside the Academy of Sport and Western Creek Reserve.

We were delighted to have Donna back after a sixweek long visit to Namibia, Souith Africa and U.K. She enjoyed  another vintage car rally with her husband and friends (after dining in the Houses of Parliament )-They drove from London to John o'Groats).
Feathered friends featured strongly on this walk thus taking photographic precedence over local scenes.

Coffee at the old Boatshed.
